Meeting the needs of the commercial, medical, and consumer home markets, Knight Manufacturing Co., Inc. produced more than a dozen different custom stamped stainless steel water flow restrictors that deliver varying rates of flow through shower heads. Our engineers worked with customer-supplied CAD drawings to design the tooling and dies to fabricate these restrictors rapidly and with optimal material usage, minimizing waste and keeping costs low. These parts, with an outer diameter of 0.625" and measuring only .015" thick, were manufactured in our modern facility on equipment able to keep tolerances to a very tight ±.0005", which is verified by dimensional inspections at every step of the process.
