Knight Manufacturing Co., Inc. produced these stamped brass and stainless steel water enhancers for use within faucets and hose assemblies found in the home appliance industry. Part production always starts with our engineering team, who designed the dies and tooling to cost-effectively manufacture this component. The part featured a .875″ outer diameter, .028″ thick brass ring and a .015″ stainless steel screen. We employed progressive die metal stamping techniques to fabricate the ring, and a rapid automated assembly system was used to create the final product. Quality control measures at every step of production ensured that the critical dimensions of this piece were kept to very tight .0005″ tolerances.
